Patti Klein, Owner
The Restaurant Collection was founded in 1995 by Patti Klein, already a twelve year veteran of Philadelphia's hospitality industry. Prior to beginning her own company, Patti served as Director of Sales & Marketing for area hotels including The Barclay, Warwick and the Korman Suites Hotel and Conference Center. Meanwhile, Philadelphia's restaurant community began to expand and she wanted to participate in elevating the city's culinary status to a world-class destination. She formed The Restaurant Collection after attaining her first client. Her reputation for personal service, reliability and results earned her eight clients by the end of her first anniversary. She has established solid relationships with key community groups, professional organizations, members of the media and event organizers which allow her to raise the visibility of her clients and attract new customers. By placing chefs in front of the public, she has helped many to build their careers to a "star" status. One of Patti's many accomplishments is that she was invited to join the prestigious organization Les Dames d' Escoffier in 1998, which recognizes women who have made a major contribution to the culinary field. When Patti puts down the phone and closes her laptop, you can usually find her with a cosmo in hand at one of our clients' venues welcoming a new customer to the restaurant!
